Marc Anderson Architects is a Chicago
based full-service architecture and design
firm. Our focus is on finding the best design
for each of our clients and each of our
projects. We start by listening to our clients
to learn and then adopt their goals as our
own. These goals focus our work.
MAA is prepared to help you plan a
beautiful, functional space that fits your specific needs.
Our experience covers multiple market
sectors including commercial build-outs,
tenant improvements, residential, mix-use
developments, public institutions, and
daycare centers.
Marc S. Anderson, AIA
Marc received his Master of Architecture degree from the Ohio State University with an interest in the role surveillance has played in urban design. His undergraduate degree was from Purdue University in animation where he enjoyed telling engaging stories with moody backdrops.
With experience designing award-winning projects including higher education classroom and iconic landmark buildings, Marc enjoys translating client goals into functional, efficient, and attractive spaces.
Marc is a Chicago Registered Self-Certification Architect.
He is licensed in Illinois and Connecticut.
How we work
At heart we are problem solvers. We choose to move deliberately through a design process with our clients that first resolves large issues then weighs priorities as we narrow down on the final design. We don’t pretend good ideas come from nothing and can be quickly scribbled on a napkin. They come from thinking deliberately about the challenges while keeping the goals front of mind.
